We are happy to announce that we will be resuming patient care on May 12th!!!
We are very excited to begin the process of re-opening Brecksville Family Dentistry and resume caring for our patients. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety and your dental health. Thank you so much for your support during this difficult time!
Our primary goal has always been to keep our patients and staff safe and healthy by implementing best healthcare practices. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. Our office has always followed infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies’ recommendations.
Our staff have been hard at work preparing the office and undergoing training to re-open with updated infection control policies and procedures. You will notice some physical changes to our office including; the removal of products and items from high traffic areas, countertops and our treatment rooms, the installation of glass partitions, medical grade air purifiers throughout the practice, and we have established new cleaning protocols to protect your family. We have updated some of our daily procedures with regards to how patients are checked-in and checked-out to accommodate for safe social distancing. You'll still receive the same great service from our dedicated team, however, to ensure the safety of all our patients we've implemented the following changes:
Check in from your car! Please call our office at (440) 526-8688 to let us know that you have arrived for your appointment. When your chair is ready, we will let you know and take you directly to the dental chair.
Our office will communicate with you prior to appointments to ask some screening questions. Both our patients and our staff will be screened upon entry into our office, including reading your temperature with a no-touch thermometer.
We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. You will also find some in the reception areas, restroom and in all of the treatment rooms for you to use as needed.
We ask that only patients enter our office at this time. If a patient is a minor or needs assistance, we ask that only 1 adult accompany the patient into the office for their appointment. We will ask all those entering our office to wear a facemask or face covering.
Appointments will be managed to allow for safe social distancing between patients. That might mean that you are offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting time for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.
We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work through the huge endeavor of rescheduling all of the appointments that were cancelled throughout our closure. We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice.
Again, thank you so much for your support. We’re happy to continue serving you, and can’t wait to see your smile!
